Cultivating Instructions with substrate Pleurotus
Cultivation Instructions
The dimension of the substrate is 55x35x25cm. On the plastic film surrounding the substrate there are ready holes on 3 sides, out of which mushrooms will be germinated. There is the possibility of mounting on the floor to the side of the substrate, in which there are no holes. If you have more than one substrate, you can place them in a "Π" shape.
Area:
Ideal for growing substrates is a cool room, sheltered, with little light (room light). In a few words, you can easily place them in a sheltered balcony or terrace, or even in a room or warehouse.
Lighting:
Perfect lighting is 50-100 lux. During the night they can remain in the dark without a problem, but during the day you should avoid direct sun exposure.
Temperature:
Ideal temperature is between 6 and 18 ° C. At temperatures below 6 ° C there will not be a serious problem, except from small growth retardation. At temperatures above 25 ° C the fungus stops its growth.
Humidity:
Permanent supply of moisture is required. This can be achieved by depositing the substrate in a liquid surface. It is proposed to cover the substrate with nylon material to the permanent environment humidity. When roots appear first, remove the nylon and spray with water every 1-2 days.
Harvest:
After 7-14 days there will be production results. Harvesting has to be made by hand, by uprooting the mushroom, without the help of a knife.
Τip: When the substrate is exhausted and no longer produces mushrooms, we suggest its inclusion to the soil, as it serves as an organic fertilizer in vegetable crops and fruit trees.
Yield Substrate:
